PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier plate having required rigidity and a high material yield, and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The carrier plate comprises a plate portion for supporting a gear and a plurality of leg portions each extending from the outer edge of the plate portion in the axial direction.
