PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dual-mode damper which is of great safety, makes it possible to reduce dual-mode (torsional and bending) vibrations using a small number of parts, and can particularly be produced at a low cost. SOLUTION: An annular mass body 3 is arranged between the radial portion 12 of a hub 1 and the guard 22 of a retainer 2 which is connected to the hub 1 and an elastic body 4 which is formed of a rubber elastic material is interposed between the annular mass body and the radial portion 12, and the guard 22. The elastic body 4 is integrated with the annular mass body 3 by a non-adhesive means, i.e, by filling a connection hole 31 which is bored in the annular mass body 3 with a part of the elastic body 4 and, at the same time, is pressure-welded to the radial portion 12 of the hub 1 and the guard 22 of the retainer 2.
