PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a longitudinally endless gasket to be mounted in a grooved portion of one member for providing sealing between one member and the other member when fastened to each other, having simple and easy work in assembling and fastening processes and improved sealing performance. SOLUTION: The gasket has a sectional shape corresponding to the sectional shape of the grooved portion to be fitted therewith, where the ratio H/W of a height H of the sectional face to a width W is within a specified range. It has protruded portions protruded from both side faces, which consist of large protruded portions and small protruded portions having preset size differencesΔX,Δx between sizes R2, R1 thereof in the cross direction and the width X of the grooved portion and provided in numbers each at preset spaces P, p in the longitudinal direction.
