PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for knitting a net, capable of knitting the net having a good order of meshes even if containing a foreign yarn in warp yarns, and a warp yarn-restricting mechanism used for the device for knitting the net. SOLUTION: This device for knitting the net 10 knits the net by using a plurality of warp yarns 19 and a weft yarn, and is equipped with a mechanisms 22, 23 for restricting the warp yarns 19 and a mechanism 24 knotting the warp yarns 19 with the weft yarn in a state that the warp yarns-restricting mechanisms 22, 23 restrict the warp yarns 19. The warp yarns-restricting mechanisms 22, 23 has a chuck part 22 for nipping and restricting the warp yarns 19 by a prescribed timing and a roller part 23 restricting the warp yarns 19 in a state of winding the yarns on its outer circumferential surface and also rotating the roller by a prescribed angle by the specific timing. In the device for knitting the net 10, it is possible to arrange selected warp yarns 19 in a passage passing through the chuck part 22 and without restricted by the roller of the roller part 23.
