PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroforming method which makes it possible to obtain a seamless flexible endless member free of defects such as projections due to the sludge generated from an anode, an electroplating method, and an electrophotographic photoreceptor substrate which is manufactured from these methods and can form good images free of image defects, and an electrophotographic photoreceptor using such substrate. SOLUTION: In the electroforming method of forming the endless member in an electroforming liquid bath, the sludge generated from the anode during electroforming is to settled in an anode case and the settled sludge is sucked together with the electroforming liquid by a suction pump and is passed through a filter for adsorption; thereafter, the electroforming liquid is sent to a weak electrolytic cell and impurities having a low tendency to ionization are removed in the weak electrolytic cell. The electroforming liquid from which impurities are removed is then sucked by the suction pump and is passed through the filter for adsorption.
