PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a protist suppressor that shows excellent suppressing action on protists and/or injurious substances with high safety. SOLUTION: Clam shells are natural inorganic wastes that are friendly and harmless to human and environment. The clam shells are calcined and the shell powder obtained can effectively be used as the suppressor against protists and/or injurious substances.
