PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gel composition compounded with an amino acid derivative-based oil-gelatinizing agent represented by N-2-ethylhexanoylglutamic acid dibutylamide, wherein the oil-gelatinizing agent is mixed in an oil substrate without being dissolved by heating under very high temperature conditions of≥150°C. SOLUTION: The gel composition comprises (a) an amino acid derivative represented by general formula (1) (wherein, R<SB>1</SB>and R<SB>2</SB>are a 1-26C hydrocarbon; and R<SB>3</SB>is a 7-10C hydrocarbon) and (b) one or more selected from organic solvents having a hydroxy group and/or a carboxy group, wherein molecular weight and IOB value satisfy the relation expressed by expression (1): logMw≤-0.23X+2.7 (wherein, Mw is molecular weight; and X is IOB value).
