PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make prevention of vibration of a hood at idling and impact absorption efficiency from below compatible. SOLUTION: In the hood hinge structure, the hood 5 is vertically openably/closably mounted to a cowl top side member 33 through a hood hinge member 30 and the hood hinge member 30 is provided with a bracket 38 fixed with a backing seat plate 37 in the state that it is abutted on a surface of the cowl top side member 33; a hinge arm 39 mounted to the hood 5; and a hood hinge pin 40 for elevationably pivotally supporting the bracket 38 and one end of the hinge arm 39. A hole part 45 insertable with the bracket 38 and a part of the hinge arm 39 is formed on the cowl top side member 33 and the hood hinge pin 40 is arranged on a back surface side of the cowl top side member 33 while passing through the hole part 45. An enlarged part 51 for covering the hood hinge pin 40 and closing the hole part 45 is provided on the backing seat plate 37 abutted on a back surface of the cowl top side member 33.
