PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater with high heat exchanging efficiency. SOLUTION: In thid water heater container, space for reserving flame is formed by increasing the area of the bottom of a container by bending the bottom in the shape of continuous steps in such a way that the center is higher than the outer periphery and lowering the outer periphery of the container in the shape of a cylinder spreading out like a fan from the outer periphery if the container is circular. Furthermore, several holes for escaping flame are bored in an upper part of the cylinder spreading like a fan in the periphery, so that a chimney effect is generated in a convection part and new flame is continuously fed.
