PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe in which side lobes are reduced and an ultrasonic diagnostic device provided with the ultrasonic probe. SOLUTION: On one surface of a piezoelectric body 3 provided in the ultrasonic probe, an electrode 31 is formed. The electrode 31 is constituted of the plurality of electrodes 31a, 31b and 31c, etc., continued in a scanning direction and divided in a slice direction. From the center part of the piezoelectric body 3 to the end part, the width of each of the electrodes 31a, 31b and 31c, etc., is gradually reduced. As a result, among the areas of the respective electrodes 31a, 31b and 31c, etc., the area of the electrode 31a formed at the center part is the largest and the area is gradually reduced from the center part to the end part. By arraying the electrodes in such a manner, the weighting of the center part of the piezoelectric body 3 is increased in the transmission / reception of ultrasonic waves.
