PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cultivator capable of simply structuring a transmission mechanism, while keeping cultivation claws in an excellent crosscut arrangement for residual soil cultivating treatment. SOLUTION: In this cultivator, a support shaft 13 comprises a bent shaft and is attached to a body frame 14 so as to be rotatable around an axis. A hollow cultivation shaft 12 is divided and composed of a central cultivation shaft 57 engaged with a central shaft part 51, a left cultivation shaft 62L engaged with a left extension shaft part 53L, and a right cultivation shaft 62R engaged with a right extension shaft part 53R. Further, the central cultivation shaft 57 is equipped with a sprocket 38 which receives driving force from a power source and functions as a driving force receiving member, together with driving cultivation claws 56L, 56R each having a hatchet claw shape, the left cultivation shaft 62L is equipped with a left driven cultivation claw 61L which rotates by being caught up with the driving cultivation claw 56L, only when coupled with the driving cultivation claw 56L, together with left cultivation claws 66L, and the right cultivation shaft 62R is equipped with a right driven cultivation claw 61R which rotates by being caught up with the driving cultivation claw 56R, only when coupled with the driving cultivation claw 56R, together with right cultivation claws 66R.
