A transport load is secured by a strap with a woven matrix (1) incorporating optical markings (2, 3) with outer markings (2) and an array of inner tensile markings (3). Both types (2, 3) of fibre are woven into the matrix and are of different colour or contrast. The markings (2) at the outer margin are at about 10% width of the strap (4) width (B). Both types of fibre (2, 3) are warp threads running parallel to the strap length. |
