<p>A polyester artificial hair which is improved in settability, touch, transparency, and flame retardance and controlled in the surface gloss of fiber while retaining the properties inherent in conventional polyester fibers, e.g., heat resistance, tenacity, and elongation, specifically, a flame-retardant polyester artificial hair obtained by melt-spinning either a composition which comprises a polyester, at least one bromine-containing flame retardant selected from among brominated epoxy flame retardants, brominated phenoxy resin flame retardants, and brominated phosphate flame retardants, and a cyclic organophosphorus compound and/or a phosphoric ester amide compound or a composition which further contains organic fine particles and/or inorganic ones in addition to the above components.</p> |
