FIELD: mechanical engineering; turbocompressors. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manufacture and operation of turbocompressor, their surge control and protection. According to invention, in accepted system of coordinates at level of task determined by control line shifted through preset value in safety zone from surge line to area of stable modes of operation of compressor are stabilized by forming control action of position of surge valve by closed control circuit containing proportional and integral parts, direction of shifting of operating point from control line is determined and, depending on direction of shifting, forming of control action is carried out at one of two different values of amplification factor of proportional part of control circuit. ^ EFFECT: improved accuracy, economy and efficiency of surge control. ^ 2 cl, 1 dwg
