<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a noncontact connector which performs the transmission and reception of data in a noncontact state through multiple channels and, at the same time, does not cause any interference between channels. <P>SOLUTION: The noncontact connector is constituted of a rotating-side optical element arranged on a rotating body which rotates around a rotary shaft and a fixed-side optical element arranged on a fixed body at a position facing the rotating-side optical element and performs the transmission and reception of data in a noncontact state between the rotating-side optical element and fixed-side optical element.
