摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rare earth magnet material having excellent properties which is in the shape of coarse powder having the average grain diameter of 10 &mu;m or above and has a good anti-corrosion property and never decreases its coercive force rapidly even under excessive nitriding and tends to exhibit stable magnetic properties. <P>SOLUTION: The rare earth magnet material has a composition expressed as R<SB>x</SB>T<SB>100-x-y-z</SB>Al<SB>y</SB>M<SB>z</SB>N<SB>w</SB>, where R is one or two or more kinds of lanthanoids containing Sm by 70% or above, T is Fe or Fe and Co, M is one or two or more kinds of elements selected among Si, Zr, Y, Hf, Ti, Nb, Cr, V, and Mo, 5&le;x&le;20, 2&le;y&le;10, 0&le;z&le;10, and 15&le;w&le;25, and has the shape of coarse powder having the average grain diameter of 10 &mu;m or above.
