<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sales promotion method for urging a customer who has placed a tentative order for a commodity to purchase it. <P>SOLUTION: The sales promotion method, for use with a sales management system, comprises a commodity having identification information, a mobile terminal, a management server, and a stock management server for the commodity. The method includes a step for letting the mobile terminal obtain the commodity's identification information; a step for letting the mobile terminal send the identification information to the management server via a network; a step for letting the management server obtain the stocks of the commodity from the stock management server for registration as sales management information; a step for receiving a report on the updated stocks from the stock management server if the stocks have been updated; and a step for notifying the mobile terminal that the stocks meet predetermined requirements upon the report. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
