PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve affinity to another communication system by suppressing a radiation electromagnetic field of a power line communication system using carrier waves of 1.7 MHz to 30 MHz as a high-speed power line communication band, using a low-voltage distribution line of unbalanced two lines whose one side is grounded. SOLUTION: In the power line communication system using a low voltage distribution line, a differential mode filter is installed on the secondary side of a pole transformer or on a distribution board, and a high pass filter is provided on the input of a power communication modem. Thus, the radiation electromagnetic field is reduced, compared to a conventional technique or a balanced line transmission path. Also, it is proved that in addition to the above, a common mode filter is provided on the input/output section of the power line communication modem. Thus, interference waves (Longitudinal Conversion Gain, Transverse Conversion Gain, Conversion Transfer Gain) to another system can be reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
