PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication method, whereby a radio wave from a slave station wireless apparatus efficiently reaches a master station wireless apparatus so that waste of the radio waves can be reduced. SOLUTION: In the wireless communication method 1 where data are wirelessly transmitted from the slave station wireless apparatus 3 to the master station wireless apparatus 5, the slave station wireless apparatus 3 is provided with an antenna 3a whose directivity is variable; the master station wireless apparatus 5 transmits a reference signal to the slave station wireless apparatus 3; and the slave station wireless apparatus 3 receives the reference signal to detect a major arrival direction of the reference signal; the antenna directivity of the antenna 3a is directed in the detected major arrival direction of the reference signal; and the data are transmitted to the master station wireless apparatus 5 from the antenna 3a.
