PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for executing speed reduction control while minimizing inconveniences when a plurality of control conditions are established during vehicle speed reduction control. SOLUTION: The device is provided for performing vehicle speed reduction control with the operation of a braking device 200 and shifting operation of shifting a vehicle transmission 10 to a relatively lower speed shift stage. It comprises a first speed reduction control means for performing first speed reduction control in accordance with first control conditions regarding at least one of vehicle travelling environment and its travelling condition and a second speed reduction control means for performing second speed reduction control in accordance with second control conditions regarding at least one of the vehicle travelling environment and its travelling condition. When the first control conditions and the second control conditions are established at the same time, a target deceleration 612 and a shift stage or a gear ratio 611 are determined during vehicle speed reduction control with the operation of the braking device and the shifting operation in accordance with at least one of a target deceleration and a shift stage set by the first and second speed reduction control means, respectively.
