PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the trouble and danger of a recording medium being taken out by someone other than its owner. SOLUTION: An information processor includes separation means 2-3, 4-2, 5-2 and the like for separating recording medium units 20, 30 attached to an information processor body 1 from the information processor body 1; remote controllers 50, 60, 70 for sending a command to operate the separation means together with one's ID; and a storage device that stores the IDs of the storage medium units and the IDs of the remote controllers in association. When the command and the remote-controller ID are received from any of the remote controllers, the recording-medium unit ID associated with the remote-controller ID is stored in the storage device, and if the recording medium unit indicated by the recording medium unit ID is mounted in the information processor, the separation means are operated.
