PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for sorting a zener diode for generating noise that can reduce required time for acceptance determination and which can unify and objectify criteria. SOLUTION: The method for sorting the zener diode for generating noise comprises a stage for sorting conforming zener diodes for generating noise, based on the randomness of the generated noise; and a stage for inspecting similarities in the relation between inverse bias voltage and detection noise voltage and sorting a target zener diode as a new conforming article, when the similarity is large to some extent.
