PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for profiling and detecting a protein that becomes a disease-relevant biomarker, or a protein fluctuating in the blood, when a compound such as a medicine or medicine candidate is given to a human body or an animal. SOLUTION: A serum fraction obtained by removing albumin from a serum collected from a patient or a serum collected from an animal or human body to which a compound is given, particularly by the use of a hollow yarn module is further fractionated to form a profile of protein and polypeptide contained in this fraction, and this profile is compared with a reference condition, whereby the protein contained in the patho-gnomonic fraction found which becomes a biomarker is detected. Otherwise, a biomarker protein which emerges or disappears in and from the serum, by reacting the living body with the compound, is detected. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
