PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight of a means for fixing a balancing weight to a rotary disc of a turbine or a turbo machine. SOLUTION: This device is provided for balancing a rotary part, particularly, a turbine rotor of the turbo machine such as a turbo jet. The device comprises at least one balancing weight having an engaging means for engaging the balancing weight with an annular flange of the rotary part and a lock means to be joined to the balancing weight and the annular flange. The balancing weight is prevented from moving relative to the annular flange, and the lock means itself is prevented from rotationally moving and axially translating relative to the balancing weight.
