PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat sliding device structured so that a belt anchor plate 60 stretching in the rail direction is attached to an upper rail 50, capable of preventing the upper rail 50 from separating from the lower rail 10 even when an excessive load is applied to a seat belt. SOLUTION: The seat sliding device has the lower rail 10 and the upper rail 50 to slide on the lower 10, and is structured so that the belt anchor plate 60 stretching in the rail direction is attached to the upper rail 50. In such a way as stretching in the rail direction, a reinforcement 70 is fixed rigidly to the belt anchor plate 60, and a cylinder having a box-shaped section is formed from the reinforcement 70 and the belt anchor plate 60.
