PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering wheel capable of inhibiting overheating in connection parts and allowing uniform heating with less recesses and protrusions in its surface. SOLUTION: A plurality of planar heating elements 23 are formed in one substrate 28, and accordingly, a plurality of connection parts are created. Electric currents passing through the connection parts 33 can be dispersed, therefore, large currents are prevented from passing through the connection parts 33. Thus, the overheating in the connection parts 33 can be inhibited. Furthermore, the planar heating elements 23 are formed of one substrate 28, therefore, level differences in the surface of the steering wheel by the substrate 28 are reduced. Thus, the steering wheel with less recesses and protrusions can be made. Moreover, mother electrodes 29 can be divided and shortened, therefore, the influence of a voltage drop is decreased, and thus, the uniform heating is enabled. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
