Disclosed is a method for removing dirt (14) and/or clogged material (13) from a set (11) of ducts (12), especially interconnected parallel ducts (12) such as a catalytic converter module, by means of a treatment with a liquid (2). Said method can be carried out in a particularly fast and inexpensive manner by repeatedly and alternately filling the ducts (12) with the liquid (2) from the ends thereof, at least a portion of the filled liquid being evacuated via the same filling ends.
