<p>A frame profile trim strip for weatherproof fitting to a door or window has a shaped core (101) with bonded fastening to a mounting strip (103) which has a clip fitting to the main frame, or to the sealing strip onto the glass pane. The outer surface of the core is shaped and covered by a similarly shaped glass profile (102) to provide a weatherproof trim and support strip. The glass layer is secured to the core by bonding materials. The core material is selected to match the thermal expansion of the glass.</p> |
