PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a prepreg which liberates no gas, when a moisture-curable resin composition is hardened, and is useful as a fiber-reinforced composite material or the like excellent in hardenability and mechanical properties because of a largely reduced amount of bubbles in the inside and surface of the hardened product. SOLUTION: This prepreg is prepared by impregnating reinforcing fibers such as carbon fibers with a moisture-hardening resin composition which contains a reaction product between an epoxy resin having 1 or more hydrolyzable silyl group of the formula (X is a hydrolyzable group; (a) is 0-2; R' is an alkyl) and a silane compound having a functional group reactive with epoxy group in one molecule, gives a hardened product having a flexural modulus of >=1.0Gpa at room temperature and a glass transition point of >=30 deg.C. When this resin composition is hardened, substantially no gas is liberated. In a preferred embodiment, this prepreg is applied to a concrete structure and hardened whereby the concrete structure is mended or reinforced. |
