The apparatus has a reflecting mirror (3) whose reflection axis (X) is oriented in a horizontal plane with respect to a plane of vertical symmetry defined by a plate. The mirror is mounted on the plate between two end positions between which an angular interval is delimited. The interval corresponds to a safety shooting zone on both sides of a median line of sight (D) located in the plane of symmetry.
