A paving resin composition is characterized as a thermoplastic resin composition which contains at least 30-70 weight% of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer having a vinyl acetate content of 20-45 weight% and a melting temperature of 40-100°C, and is formed into a small lump. The paving resin composition can melt in a short time and is excellent in wettability and adhesion to an aggregate, and thus enables to form a pavement with excellent durability which is free from problems such as deformation during summer time and cracks during winter time. Since the paving resin composition can be put into a mixer directly without using a weighing apparatus, it does not require cleaning of the weighing apparatus, piping and the like, and thus it has good workability.
