<p>Flood protection system comprises a base plate (30) having a device connected to the base plate consisting of a recess on the edge of the base plate and reinforcing elements protruding into the recess. The recess is dimensioned so that two opposite-lying base plates can be joined using cast concrete. An independent claim is also included for displacing protective elements of a flood protection system. Preferred Features: The reinforcing elements are formed as a connecting reinforcing loop.
