The device has a wall (7) in which a window (10) situated at an interface of outer and inner mediums (4, 6) is found. A strip-like material (2) is held in the outer medium (4) by a return roller which is arranged in a frame (20). The frame guides the strip-like material so that transfer of the material between the mediums is carried out by a progressive return during its passage across the window.
