A bus stop sign 10 including a sleeve member 12 locatable in the ground. An upright member 26 is mounted in the sleeve member 12, and both are hexagonal in plan view. An engagement finger 34 is located within the upright member 26 and is spring urged to engage in a recess 24 in the sleeve member 24 to retain the upright member 26 in the sleeve member 12. An opening 42 is provided in the upright member 26 spaced a short distance above the top end of the sleeve member 12, through which opening 42 a tool (46, Fig 10) can engage to disengage the finger 34 from the recess 24 and hence permit removal of the upright member 26 and sleeve member 12. |
