TIRE/WHEEL ASSEMBLY BODY AND SUPPORTING BODY FOR TRAVELING WITH TIRE FLAT

In a tire/wheel assembly body, a supporting body for traveling with the tire flat is installed in the cavity of a pneumatic tire that is attached to a rim of the wheel. The support body has a circular shell and elastic rings. The outer peripheral side of the circular shell is a supporting surface and the inner peripheral side is formed as leg portions straddling in a bifurcated manner. The elastic rings support on the rim the leg portions. The cross- sectional area of a circular cavity portion surrounded by the support body and the pneumatic tire is varied in the circumferential direction of the tire by the circular shell.
