PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic welding apparatus capable of following sink of a work and thus performing high accurate centering even in chucking the work firmly. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic welding apparatus is to join a plurality of cross flow fan constitutional parts 3 comprising synthetic resin molded article formed into a cylindrical shape and weld the welded part 7 through ultrasonic wave, and it includes a chucking mechanism 24 for performing centering of the cross flow fan constitutional parts 3 in a manner pressing the outer peripheral parts of the cross flow fan constitutional parts 3 in the axial direction, and a slide mechanism for allowing the chucking piece 34 of the chucking mechanism 24 to follow movement of the cross flow fan constitutional parts 3 at the time of executing welding while imparting pressure forces to the joined parts of the cross flow fan constitutional parts 3 by the tool horn 38 of a ultrasonic welding machine. |
