<p>An edge replacement tip capable of performing turning, which has been performed by using a rhomboid tip, by using a triangular edge replacement tip allowing the use of three corners without deteriorating the accuracy of an edge position in cutting, wherein recessed parts (5) and a plurality of projected parts (6) are provided on the side faces of the tip (1) basically formed in an equilateral triangular shape in which the apex angles of corners C are formed sharp, the recessed parts (5) and the projected parts (6) are fitted, in V-shapes, to the recessed and projected parts (18) provided on the seat side face (12b) of a holder (11) while being related to the recessed parts (5) and the projected parts (6), and the tip (1) is pressed against the seat bottom face and seat side face of a seat groove by a clamp means (13) to stabilize the constraint of the tip so as to prevent the edge from being displaced due to the change of the orientation of a cutting force.</p> |
