The present invention refers to spacer element formed as a longitudinal profile and intended in its using position for creating distance (2) and/or for absorbing loads, pressures, relative motions between preferably glass sheets (3) and/or between glass packages (4) containing several glass sheets (3) , when they are packed against each other preferably in or on a packaging arrangement (5) , such as e.g. a support (6) , wood boxes, paper boards. Said spacer element (1) comprises at least one contact area (7) for contacting direct or indirect against the surface (8) of the glass sheet (3), said contact surface (7) having at least one soft portion (9) extending divided into separated lengths or into whole lengths along the longitudinal direction of the spacer element (1) for contacting against the surface (8) of the glass sheets (3) , said spacer element (1) and said soft portion (9) being extruded together, during so called co-extruding. |
