PURPOSE: Provided is a wear-resistant sprayed coating film having no possibility of causing embrittlement and reduction in oil retentivity and formed on the sliding surface of a sliding member, such as piston ring and cylinder. CONSTITUTION: A sprayed coating film(3) is obtained by using a powder mixture consisting of powder of a hard material(5), powder of a metal constituting a matrix(6), and particles of a metal-coated solid lubricant and plasma spraying it onto the sliding surface of the sliding member. In the sprayed coating film(3), copper-coated graphite particles(4) are used as the powder of the metal-coated solid lubricant and the content of the copper-coated graphite particles(4) is made to 0.1 to 10 mass%. |
