The system has an engine (3) mounted on an aircraft (1) through vibration damper units (6). A rigid chassis (4) is mounted on the aircraft in a total independent manner from the engine for carrying a transmission assembly (5). The assembly is connected to a shaft of the engine by a flexible coupling (11). The assembly has an automatic declutching unit of the engine in case of failure of the engine.
