PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine feeder which can prevent a medicine from dropping erroneously upon mounting a medicine cassette. SOLUTION: The medicine feeder 1 has a storage section 5 for storing medicines T, and a rotor 10 is housed in the storage section 5. The number of ejected tablets are counted by a tablet counter, and a motor 54 is stopped when the number of the tablets reaches a given number. Upon stopping the motor 54, the motor 54 is rotated slightly in reverse to rotate the rotor 10 in reverse before the motor 54 is brought to a complete stop. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
