PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding type wooden box capable of being set up simply and correctly without a tool or skill. SOLUTION: A barrel 1 of the wooden box is formed in a rectangle of a plurality of side plates 2. The adjacent side plates 2 are coupled by hinges 7 and 8 made of a resin or the like. The hinges 7 and 8 have the inside hinge 7 having a bending part 10 located on the inner peripheral side of the barrel 1 and the outside hinge 8 having a bending part 10 located on the outer peripheral side of the barrel 1, wherein the inside hinge 7 and the outside hinge 8 are alternately provided along the circumferential direction.
