PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve HMI of an operating means for a user, by improving guidance about an operating method of the operation means for safety equipment and answer back about operation to the user of a vehicle. SOLUTION: The information providing device 100 for a vehicle comprises a visual information providing means 101 for visually informing various states of the vehicle, and an audio information providing means 240 for acoustically informing. A controlling means 202 inputs traveling information about the safety equipment 226 of the vehicle and operation information of the operating means of the safety equipment 226 for the user, through at least either one of a vehicular information terminal 212 or a multiplex operation input/output means 213. The visual information providing means 101 and the audio information providing means 240 are operated so as to inform operation confirming information according to the operation information to the operating means 227, and operation guiding information about the operation method of the operating means according to the traveling information and the operation information about the safety equipment.
