PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid-droplet discharge head capable of preventing the poor discharge from occurring by making it possible to discharge a thickened liquid and an image formation device using the head. SOLUTION: The liquid-droplet discharge head (50) is equipped with a liquid-chamber passage (55) filled with the liquid including an electrolyte, a feed passage (542) branched from the liquid-chamber passage (55), a pressure chamber (52) filled with the liquid fed from the liquid-chamber passage (55) through the feed passage (542), a pressure generating means (58) by which the liquid in the pressure chamber (52) is pressurized, a liquid-droplet discharging nozzle (51) communicating with the pressure chamber (52), an electrode for electrolysis (514) formed on the internal wall surface of the nozzle (51) for generating bubbles which ease a passage resistance on the internal wall surface of the nozzle (51) and an electrode for electrolysis (546) for generating the bubbles blocking a liquid flow on the internal wall surface of the throttle part of the feed passage (542).
