PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide tissue paper with a watermark which can be simply and inexpensively manufactured. SOLUTION: The watermark form tissue paper has the following characteristics. It is provided with a pattern part in which a basis weight is 14-31 g/m<SP>2</SP>, a pigment amount per unit area is higher than the other parts, and a pulp amount and pulp density per unit area are substantially equal to or lower than the other parts, and which can be visually identified as a design and a character. The opacity of the pattern part is 43-55%. The opacity of the other parts is 35-40%. The opacity of the pattern part is higher than the other parts.
