PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a postal matter delivery sectioning machine which is provided with a plurality of feeding-and-collecting parts, each of which is integrally composed of a feeding means and a collecting means, said machine conducing secondary sectioning by switching between the feeding means and collecting means of the feeding-and-collecting parts. SOLUTION: A reading part 5 reads and identifies the delivery sectional information of postal matter P fed from a plurality of feeding-and-collecting parts 10-30 which are integrally composed of the feeding means and the collecting means. From the result of the identification, the delivery sectinal information is collected in the feeding-and-collecting parts 100-120 according to, for example, the figure-of-one of the delivery sectinal information. Then, the postal matter P collected in the feeding-and-collecting part 100 is fed and read by the reading part 5. From the result of the identification, the delivery sectinal information is collected in the feeding-and-collecting parts 10-30 according to, for example, the figure-of-10 of the delivery sectinal information. In the similar manner, the postal matter P collected in the feeding-and-collecting parts 110 and 120 is also collected in the collecting parts 10-30, and consequently the postal matter P is collected together.
