PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To treat a wound or fibrotic condition, disease or disorder. SOLUTION: A healing composition contains at least one non-fibrotic growth factor in combination with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. A method for preparation of the composition and a method for treating a host, suffering from the wound or the fibrotic condition, disease or disorder with the composition are also disclosed.
