Preparation of savory snack containing organoleptic ingredients involves: preparing sheet of dough having water activity (AW) of 0.85-0.95 and a relative moisture of 25-35%; preparing a batter containing at least one organoleptic ingredient, having an AW of 0.85-0.95, a relative moisture of 30-35% and a viscosity of at least 3500 mPa.s; laying at most 67 wt.% of the batter on the sheet; rolling up the sheet onto the layer of batter, to obtain a semifinished product and subjecting the product to leavening and baking. An independent claim is also included for the savory snack.
