A display comprises a substrate, a first group of electrodes arranged adjacently to the substrate and composed of electrode patterns extending in a first direction, a second group of electrodes arranged adjacently to the substrate and composed of electrode patterns extending in a second direction different from the first direction, and display elements each formed at the intersection of one electrode pattern of the first electrode group and one electrode pattern of the second electrode group. At least the first electrode group include electrode patterns one end of each of which is connected to a drive circuit and which have mutually different lengths from one ends to the others. Each of the electrode patterns has a laminated structure including a first conductor having a first sheet resistivity and a second conductor having a second sheet resistivity smaller than the first one. Each of the electrode patterns has a high-resistance region where the second conductor is removed. The lengths of the high-resistance regions are different depending on the lengths of the electrode patterns.
