Fuel vaporizer (10) for a vehicle heating device comprises a vaporizer tube (12) guiding fuel into a combustion chamber of the heating device and having a length (L)/inner diameter ratio that is greater than 100 and less than 500, preferably between 200 and 400, and especially about 300.
